Recent Work and Clients

  • Past work:
    • Gallaudet University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute in a variety of roles, mainly related to entrepreneurship initiatives across campus, including white papers on commercialization, licensing, innovation, and technology transfer. 
    • A large quick serve restaurant (fast food) corporation to improve the customer experience in ordering as well as customer service. As part of this work, several solutions were developed, such as training staff, creating touch screen ordering displays, and creating a direct customer support line in American Sign Language.
  • Current projects:
    • Lost River Vacation Resorts, a tiny home resort in Lost River, West Virginia. Catalyst+ created site plans, advised on DeafSpace, as well as partnered with a non-profit to design site plans, including trails and common spaces.
    • The Greenhouse on H Street NE, a co-working space was redesigned as part of a future redevelopment project using DeafSpace principles, and built to be accessible from the ground up.
